Where did this come from?

Is this statement based on fact or Kris' personal opinion?

Anyone else notice that it is only to Jaime Foxx that Kris said she's the "Oprah of the Philippines"?

Is it because a)   Jaime Foxx in jest said to Oprah: `I'm available FOR YOU if Stedman is not'

                     b)  If Kris declares she's the Oprah of the PH and Jaime is into Oprah, baka naman. Why  

                          not, pwede?!

                

                     c)   Kris wanted to un-subtly say:  Oprah's not available, but I AM!

                     d) Is it because Jamie Foxx said he hearts Oprah and Kris wants Jamie Foxx to heart and    
                         foxx her too?

Where did these theories come from? 

It came from reading between the following lines.

From Jamie Foxx:   "I need love (to live)"

Kris: "Speaking of love, they call me Oprah of the Philippines...I think you're more handsome (than Stedman)."

Jamie Foxx:   "What's going on (here)?"

Who else called Kris the Oprah of the Philippines, besides Kris?

Does Oprah know a media personality in the PH is using her name in vain?


In fairness, Kris Aquino and Oprah are similar in some ways, specifically 5.

I therefore conclude, Kris is not the Oprah of the Philippines, but she is trying to be one. There's a difference.

Kris is more like a girly gay Howard Stern.

Howard Stern is the self-proclaimed King of all Media in America.

He asks pointed questions in tactless ways, just like our Queen of all Media.

He's even on America's Got Talent.



The same way Kris is on Pilipinas Got Talent.

What we can learn about Narcissism and narcissists thanks to Cedric Lee

Narcissism leads narcissists to places they deserve to be in.

Narcissism pushes narcissists to the edges of their delusions, illusions and lies to see if narcissists are loyal to narcissism's cause: protect the concept they have of their selves, to the death (narcissism prefers the death of others, not their own).

What is narcissism?

Narcissism is what and who you  think you are, sans reality; it is the false self branding itself as true.

The idea of who you think you are is something you cautiously build / create / invent through time and is based on people's reactions towards you.

Nothing in your idea of who you are comes from  anything inside you. Everything - your identity, how you speak, act, dress, work, live - is all based from  the outside.

Narcissism is the process of creating the self from the outside-in, not from the inside-out.

Everything a narcissist does, says, acts, stems from the following motivations:

* doing this will get me ______ (something that will make me feel good/something that will build my image/identity; something that will give people the impression I want them to think about me)

* acting like this will make me popular/liked/loved/adored

* saying this will make people think______ (whatever I want them to think about me, it is something that will help build the image/impression I want them to think about me)


Narcissism is 24/7 PR work.



The purpose of all these is to serve the false self and the idea narcissists have of their self, sans reality.

If these self-serving ways fail (and it almost always does because keeping all these up-and-running is a 24/7 job -  for life), the next best thing narcissists do is CONTROL and MANIPULATE.

Controlling people and manipulating people's perceptions are done via:

lies, hiding the truth, telling half-truths.



All these are easy-peezy things to do because narcissism lacks empathy (narcissists do not care nor are they concerned about other people's welfare).

Narcissism only cares about its self and in keeping the self satisfied and its feelings of emptiness filled (a 24/7 job for eternity because nothing it gains/gets could actually fill the gaping emptiness it feels).

Narcissism is the inability to get what you already have.


Because narcissists lacks empathy, they can only see others as objects or as extensions of themselves. People are there only for the purpose of doing what the narcissists want them to do.

People are objects to be toyed, played with.
People are there to build up the narcissists' false self.
People who stay out of line need to be reined in, punished.

Arrogance keeps all these activities in check.

Arrogance helps puff up the false self further and keep it going.

Arrogance shields any iota of compassion from ever manifesting.

Arrogance keeps the false self alive.


Narcissism is deathly afraid of losing the false self. It makes all effort possible to save it from death (by death, meaning it constantly protects it from seeing/acknowledging the truth).

The death of the false self, to the narcissist, is the end of everything. Behind the false self, he is an empty, quivering shell.

The narcissist has nothing, or so the narcissist thinks.

To save it from nothing, it does/says everything to keep the false self existing even if it would lead to the narcissist's own demise.

Narcissists are trapped between a rock and a hard place, or so narcissists think.

No one can save them.

The best thing anyone can do is to let them be.


In the end, narcissists end up sabotaging themselves.

Ironically, they are the best thing that can happen to them.

The false self, unable to keep up with the lies it tells itself and others, falls flat on its face.

By default, it is nature's way to balance things out.

It's a self-correcting system. Of course, the narcissist won't ever admit it was ever, ever, ever, ever wrong. Ever.
